Bralostita Bralostita

Bralostita Bralostita
These images are from the area of the Schitu main water spring. Schitu is a small village between the main village of Bralostita and the village of Bilta.

The main source of water has many wooden crosses around it, and also many wooden foot bridges around it, since the tradition is to cross over water when someone dies, in emulation of the crossing of the Styx in the well known Greek myth.
