Ghost Church from Lipovu de Sus
Not very far from the cemetery of Lipovu Mic, shown here, going down into the valley, then up the other side and through a forest, passing by two water sources, you can arrive at a ghost church, called in Romanian Schit.

Troitza in the forest, commemorating the site of the small and secluded Convent.
Adrian writes:
"Alexandru was today in the deep forest from Lipovu Mic Area, where the old Schit (church) was.
Although the ghost church from Goiesti was destroyed by people's stupidity, but here, even though the church is gone for ever, the people have made a wooden cross and an engraved stone to remember it!!!"

The sign reads:

Pr. Surlea Valeriu si Daniel 2003

Little remains of the former Convent, just a few bricks and the wooden Troitza, with a carved stone about the ancient building.

This site is not very far, if you go down through the forest and to the north of the Bronze Age site, from the limestone quarry or Carieră in the Lipovu Mic area
The GPS point for the site is 44.12581°N, 23.63540°E.
There are also a few holes in the area of the ancient church, perhaps from the former buildings there, as well as bricks, but no pottery or other artefacts, and everywhere there are many trees, a very wet and wild landscape.
